Organizational Grant
Application to the Marin Music Chest to fund activities to enhance music participation, performance and appreciation by non-profit organizations in Marin County
The Marin Music Chest provides scholarships based on merit to young classical musicians who audition in the Spring before our Artistic Council. In addition, using funds generated by our endowment, we fund select non-profits which in turn assist music students who need financial help to study music.
Requirements:
- Applications are due each year by June 30. Organizations must re-apply each year support is being requested.
- The Music Chest requires a yearly written report from organizations receiving funds on how the funds were spent and the impact they have had.
- Each organization must send a representative or group to one of Music Chest’s annual concerts, either the Scholarship Winners Concert or the Young Artists Concert, both of which take place in May.
