Applicants for Marin Music Chest Scholarships must be a resident of Marin County for a minimum of two years prior to the audition and have studied music for two years prior to audition.
- Review the required pieces needed for your audition. You must also prepare a second optional piece of your choosing.
- Perform all pieces from memory.
- Provide your own accompanist for the auditions.

Seniors
Senior audition applicants must be between 14 and 19 years of age at the time of the audition. Vocalists must be between 17 and 24 years of age at the time of the audition. Applications for 2025 will open in late 2024. Watch this space for all the details of dates, audition location and required pieces.

Junior audition applicants must be between 10 and 13 years of age at the time of the audition. Vocalists must be between 14 and 16 years of age at the time of the audition.
